Closer to the darkness…the closer to God?

ego driven lust… not closer to god.
just as a man’s morality is defined in the presence of conflict, so is a man’s ability to know God. without darkness, how do we know light?
because in the light rods and cones and your eyes receive proper stimulation allowing you to better identify the world around you.
I wonder what would happen to a blind man that could suddenly see?
